DESCRIPTION: In these 4 Mindfulness classes we will learn step by step to push the pause button on the busy mind and break patterns of stress and anxiety with guided gentle mindfulness meditation exercises.

In accordance with current poly-vagal and neuroscientific findings – that can measure the beneficial impact mediation have on the brain- we tap into the millennia old techniques to shift the attention at will from unhelpful thinking and come in contact with the stillness beneath the endless stream of thoughts and worries that fills up the mind.

In these sessions we sit on chairs in an air-conditioned comfortable room. If you prefer to sit on a mat or a cushion, just bring your own.
If you’ve never been to a mindfulness meditation class before, this is an ideal place to start. There will be guided instructions suitable for both beginners and advanced practitioners.

The classes includes an Eight Week Mindfulness Online Course to extend and deepen on the classes from home in your own time.
About the Trainer

Rita Riccola is one of New Zealand’s leading mindfulness trainers and the author of the book “The Practice of Mindfulness and Balance”.
Rita has been a Vipassana and yoga practitioner for 30 years. In 2000-2002 she attended a number of Barry Long’s ‘Course in Being’ seminars, (Barry Long was one of Eckhart Tolle’s teachers).
